Redeemer Lutheran Child Development Center

Redeemer Child Development Center is a wonderful place with caring staff who genuinely want to do what’s best for the families they serve. How do I know? My oldest child attended preschool and summer camp there, and I fully intend to start my younger child in their preschool program this coming Fall. It’s a place where the art of play is not lost, but academics are still learned. So many preschools today are so focused on drilling facts into kids that they forget to let them be kids. As Fred Rogers once said, “Play is the work of childhood”. Redeemer has not lost sight of this, and it’s only part of why I’m willing to drive a little further and past a host of other preschools to make sure my children go there. They’re willing to go above and beyond to make sure each child and family feels comfortable, safe, and secure. They also present everything in a loving, Christian environment.

Once Redeemer Preschool and Child Care Center, they are at the cusp of a big change in becoming a Child Development Center and expanding their services. For the first time in their 45+ year history, they will be offering programs for infants and toddlers in addition to the before/after school care they introduced a couple of years ago. As this change was upon them, they realized that they needed to ramp up their website efforts to reflect their change. I was excited from our first meeting to the site’s launch to help them achieve their goals with a new website.

In addition to offering necessary information about the center, this website serves several purposes. It has a comprehensive events calendar where people can open an event and export it to their personal Google or iCalendar. Parents and others can subscribe and have news items delivered straight to their email, keeping them more informed and the lines of communication open. Tuition rates and application forms are also available for download and printing, and users can contact the center using an easy form on the site. The site also features an announcements bar that they can use for inclement weather closings, reminders of deadlines, and anything else they like. With more features to come, here’s hoping Redeemer’s new website helps show what a wonderful place this is for children.
